Three-Day Workshop on Research, Publication, and IT Integration Concluded at Far Western University

Mahendranagar, June 2026* — The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Far Western University, successfully organized a three-day workshop on *“Research, Publication, and IT Integration in Teaching-Learning”* from *9th to 11th June 2026* at the Central Office of Far Western University, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur.
The workshop was conducted with the support of the *University Grants Commission (UGC), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, and coordinated by **Dr. Deepak Chandra Bhatt. A total of **52 participants*, including university teachers, researchers, MPhil/PhD scholars, graduate students, resource persons, organizers, and support staff, took part in the program.
The workshop focused on research design, academic writing, publication process, publication ethics, plagiarism, journal selection, citation and referencing, qualitative data analysis using ATLAS.ti, and the use of digital and AI tools in teaching-learning. Different thematic sessions were facilitated by experienced resource persons.
Participants actively engaged in presentations, practical sessions, group discussions, hands-on activities, and reflection sessions. The program aimed to strengthen research culture, publication skills, and technology-friendly teaching-learning practices in higher education.
The closing session included participant feedback, certificate distribution, and remarks from the organizing team.
